Overview

  • According to the Pension Fund of Ukraine, as of January 1, 2024, 664,7 thousand pensioners were registered in the Lviv region (460,7 thousand of them by age). Compared to January 1, 2016, the number of pensioners decreased by 5,9% (of them by age - by 11,0%).
  • The average size of assigned monthly pension at the beginning of 2024 was UAH 4805 (of them by age - UAH 4734).
  • Compared to the beginning of 2023, the average monthly pension increased by 15,8% (of them by age – by 14,6%).
  • There were 237,5 thousand people with disabilities registered in the region (21.0% more than in 2015), of which 12,0 thousand were children under 18 years of age.
  • In 2023, for the first time, 22,0 thousand people were recognized as disabled, of which 8,9 thousand people resided in rural areas.
