Overview

At the end of 2023 936 preschool institutions provided education for 62,6 thousand children in the region.
There were 1102 general secondary education institutions in the region, with 288,3 thousand students The educational process was provided by 33,1 thousand teachers. There were 9 students per teacher.
Vocational training was provided by 51 institutions with 21,0 thousand students.
24.1 thousand students studied and 3.5 thousand teachers worked in 21 institutions of professional higher education.
Services in the field of higher education were provided by 21 institutions, where 109,0 thousand students studied and 11,4 thousand teachers provided educational services.
