To the International Students' Day
Every year on November 17th, International Students' Day is celebrated in Ukraine.
In the Lviv region, at the beginning of the 2021/22 academic year, educational services were provided by 20 professional pre-higher education institutions (PHVEIs) and 21 higher education institutions (HEIs).
There were 18.3 thousand students in VPHEIs and 90.4 thousand students in HEIs.
By the number of students enroled in higher education per 10000 inhabitants, the Lviv region taking the third place in the regions of Ukraine.
The percentage of full-time students was 81.1% and the rest 18.9% part-time or evening.
The state funding of vocational pre-higher education students were 66.9 while majority higher education's students were 55.6% on contract formsof study.
