The export of goods to EU countries in 2021 amounted to 2,244.2 million US dollars, imports from EU countries was 2458.9 million US dollars.
The share of EU countries in the total regional volume of exports was 76.5%; in imports it was 51.7%.
Enterprises of the Lviv region export the most goods to Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic, Denmark and Hungary.
In the structure of foreign trade in goods from the EU in 2021, the greatest demand was for electrical equipment (22.4% of the volume of exports to EU countries), furniture (18.2%), wood and wood products (10.7%).
The main share of goods imports was formed by partners from Poland (35.4%) and Germany (19.0%).
